Carter Hope Center was formed in 1998 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. We initially offered meeting space for 12-step meetings but expanded our vision to include the implementation of a Residential Therapeutic Recovery Community for those suffering from addictive diseases.

When We Opened Our Recovery Residence

In early 1999, we opened our recovery residence to aid those in early recovery. The United Way of Northwest Georgia admitted Carter Hope Center as a member organization in August of 2000.

We Have Served Thousands!

Through the generosity of United Way and other donors, we have been able to serve thousands of individuals since opening our doors.

Our Rehab Facility is State Licensed

We were licensed by the State of Georgia on September 10, 2007 as:

Level III.I Low Intensity Clinically Managed Residential Treatment Program and

Level 1.0 Outpatient Treatment Program.

Since we are not a medical facility, we do not accept insurance.

Our mission statement is:

Affordable, effective treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.
